For the 3rd time (yay!) I have been asked to play at The Walker Art Gallery.
This is part of a weekend of events complementing the Toulouse Lautrec exhibition.
I'm especially excited about this one as I'll be working with 2 fabulous guitarists: Matt Wells and Dave Stearstree who are called 'Djangobop'.

January 2010: Busker – Band in a Box TV

A brand new and exclusive piece of original programming for bandinabox.tv. Busker is a new show where two musicians go head to head against one another on the streets to see who can earn the most money in one hour as a busker. In this show the contestants; Pete Murphy from Fidel Afro & Helen Maher, a singer songwriter who plays the accordian, brace the cold to play in Liverpool. Watch the video to see who won - it was a very close-run thing!

The Bluebirds' First Gig

I am now doing duo gigs with Rach and we have a new duo name: The Bluebirds. Our first gig we did officially under our new name was at the Picture House on London Road, Liverpool - Sunday 7 June 2009. The first of many open mic nights; we were asked to do a featured set to open the night.
